School Mural

School Mural

This mural celebrates school pride.  Painted in Hamilton, the large but cowering Celtic will make you chuckle as he waits to see the Principal.

The inspiration

This is one of my first wall murals, but is not actually mine.  The senior art class at Bishop Ryan High School was requested to come up with a design and then paint a mural for the Principal’s office.

Another student’s design won, but I was on her team helping to execute the wall mural.

The mural

In this wall mural, a large and mean looking Celtic is sitting with his horned helmet, sword, spear and spiked flail…cowering as he waits to see the Principal.

You may assume the tally counter on the wall, that is at the number 98, is the total number of students the Principal has seen that day, but is actually the year the mural was painted.

All painted wall murals are:

  • Free-hand drawn
  • Painted with non-toxic paint so it’s safe for your children to play in
  • Created by a muralist with over 12 years’ experience so you can relax knowing you’re working with a professional
  • Designed uniquely for you and your home (or business) giving you a custom piece of artwork
